Good news for the construction sector!
It is 23 de Mayo the Governor of the state of Querétaro, Pancho Dominguez Servien, announced an investment of 540 million pesos of state resources that will be used for educational infrastructure for the entire 2020, and thus reactivate public works in this sector.
"In Querétaro we will know how to adapt to a new normality; we will be stronger and we will retrace the paths that have led us to be the strong state that we are. Two of those paths are education and public works ”, pointed out.
In a video conference, Pancho reported that from 1 June this work plan will be implemented, which represents 2 million pesos of investment for each business day of the year, with which they will intervene 124 schools of all levels, from preschool to higher.
He specified that this economic measure reinforces his conviction to become even stronger, better organized, putting health and life first, determined to take firm steps on the best path: "The way of education".
Academic buildings will be constructed in most of the state's public universities, such as the Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ); building a new school for the metropolitan area, in the municipality of El Marqués and the completion of the fourteenth cultural and sports auditorium so far in its administration, located in Technical Secondary No. 6 of the Carrillo Puerto delegation, in Querétaro. In addition to building 71 new classrooms in basic education, to give access to 4 one thousand 200 more students.
In your message, Domínguez Servién explained that with these actions they will provide better educational spaces for more than 70 thousand students; this number of beneficiaries would practically be equivalent to filling the Corregidora stadium twice. Accompanied by the Secretary of Education, Alfredo Botello Montes, the governor stressed that his administration has very specific goals, such as the comprehensive rehabilitation of 37 campuses and building 144 classes; powerful goals, how to raise a "white flag" in the renovation of all basic education schools located in the municipal capitals of the Sierra.
