With this objective, the delegation Querétaro from Mexican Chamber of Construction Industry (CMIC), the Queretano Women's Institute (IQM) and the state agencies of the sector are working on the configuration of a work manual with a gender perspective, whose premise is to influence the participation of women in this industry and to promote their integration as part of the workforce of this activity.

The manual will have the description of specific and recommended requirements ", pronounced.

Once the manual is made, It will be sought to become a regulated public policy instrument, exposed the director of the IQM, Valeria Guerrero Angeles.

“Beyond incorporating women into an industry, what is a gap, which are spaces where it is difficult for women to have an active participation, they do it in administrative spaces, in design tasks, but they are hardly in the field, harassment situations, among others. More than being a tool for women to join, since construction there is a great opportunity to modify a large part of the roles and stereotypes that we have as a society and that these favor the incorporation of women in different types in vulnerable conditions, declared.
