For the second consecutive month, the entrepreneurs representing the manufacturing branches, of construction and commerce showed optimism about the economic situation that occurs both in the country and in their companies, according to the indicators of business confidence (ICE) published by INEGI.

By components, the ‘future economic situation of the country‘ for the Mexican merchant union was the indicator with the highest business confidence as it rose 2.8 points compared to the previous month.
Meanwhile, the ‘present economic situation of the country‘, as well as the right time to invest showed the second and third best level of business confidence in traders with 1.7 Y 0.9 points, respectively.
On the other hand, construction ICE advanced 1.3 points and reached the second month above the threshold of 50 points with 51.7 on a general level, highlighted the INEGI report.
