📰Road construction in Mexico is modernized with public and private investment

Construction and modernization work on different roads and highways in the country have made considerable progress, according to data from the Ministry of Communications and Transportation (SCT).

The intention is that it reactivates economic activity and encourages commercial activity in the west of the country, because its location allows strategic access to many of the commercial routes and the most important markets of the global economy, like the Port of Manzanillo, in Colima.

“The Armería-Manzanillo Highway will substantially improve the operating capacity of the Port of Manzanillo, main port of the Mexican Pacific and Asian gateway to North America, through greater mobility and flow of goods ", SCT noted.

When appearing in the Senate of the Republic, Díaz-Leal mentioned that as part of the conservation of the toll-free federal highway network, the SCT allocated an investment of 12,575 mdp to attend the 40,562 kilometers of this network.
